Loco Goes to Summerland for Giants Head and Salmo For Shambhala!!

The Loco is on the road to the freeride and head to head race on Giants Head in Summerland, BC. A three day event bringing tons of action and wild riders. The hill is extremely technicle, with speed and crazy corners.
After the three day event the Loco returns for one night and departs for Slamo, BC. The home of BC’s Shambhala festival. 5 days of music, dancing, relaxing, getting crazy and much, much more!

The Loco is on it’s way to Maryhill, without Hoodie. Adam Yates is the Captain driving the Loco, while Woody’s Loco experience will most likely come handy. George Mackenzie is on his first Loco trip, and with Shit Show Shadow jumping in last minute , he’s in for a treat. Prince Dillon is attempting to get over the boarder with no passport. Dan from New Zealand is on his second Loco trip, the first was fairly tame, but the Shit Show is there now. Things will be interesting, i don’t know if I topped up the brake fluid……….
Kelowna Skylands DH Race

This will be a new race added to the circuit and the Loco will be there! We leave Friday @ 5pm from Strathcona Park. Be there before and get on board! The last trip was a wild one and stay tuned for the video coming very, very soon!

This will be the 6th annual Vernon DH race and a first for the Loco Express. Seats are available, we want to be Leaving to Vernon Friday early morn, or thursday eve and returning to Vancouver late Sunday, early Monday. That only works if we can get enough people to take friday off. If we can’t we will be Leaving later on friday. There will be highway bombing along the way, giants head, Silverstar Resort road, partying, Vernon DH race and Loco chaos. To get a seat get a hold of Matt Hoodie Shaw at thelocoexpress@gmail.com.

If you where there, you know just how crazy this whole trip was. For those that were not there I will have a video up very soon! Woody took 1st, Jacko 2nd, Dillon 3rd,Reckless 4th, Yates 5th. Hanging out with the Local Natives, shooting shotguns, going wheeling, bombing rough crazy mountain roads, Mama strikes great pasta and plenty of more action aboard the Loco Express.

The Loco is Leaving Tuesday morning June 1st for Williams Lake. This trip will be returning on the 14th. We will be stopping in Whistler for a few days to session and before going to Williams Lake you will have the opportunity to go over 100 kms/hr down Duffy Lake. There will be a crazy party and skate for us in William Lake (Bricin “Striker Lyons home town)`. Then its off to Kamloops to vist Orange, and skate with the kamloops Longboard Crew before going to Vernon. After hitting Silverstar and the Vernon DH race, we will return to Vancouver.
